Sealing the connection between the lower pan and the upper perforated bowl with a mixture of water and fonio-chaff in order to optimize the flow of the staem through the perforated bowl. Because for this demonstration only a limied quantity of fonio chaff was available, chaff of mil (probably: Pennisteum glaucum) is used. Serie 23050-62.
